| Description: | This article first presents some guidelines of the current situation of children´s literature in Argentina and subsequently addresses in more detail how this is related to the last civil-military dictatorship. In the second part of the essay, and with the aim of highlighting the special importance of books for children in the field of memorialistic studies, 2 children´s books based on the Falkland Islands war are analyzed. Este artículo presenta primero algunos lineamientos de la situación actual de la literatura infantil en la Argentina, para abordar luego, en más detalle, la relación de ésta con la última dictadura cívico-militar. En la segunda parte de la contribución, y con el fin de resaltar la particular importancia de los libros para chicos en el campo de los estudios memorialísticos, se analizan dos obras infantiles que toman como base la guerra de Malvinas. |
