Description:	Public security in Mexico is a task that by constitutional provision is entrusted to civil authorities, restricting any other possibility, regardless of the circumstances that exist. Despite the foregoing, the President issued an agreement through which he intends to involve the armed forces in public security tasks, a measure that is certainly clearly unconstitutional, a circumstance that will soon be in the sphere of knowledge of the Supreme Court of Justice. To arrive at this statement, the inductive method will be used, under a qualitative research approach. La seguridad pública en México es una tarea que por disposición constitucional esta encargada a autoridades civiles, restringiendo cualquier otra posibilidad, sin importar las circunstancias que existan. A pesar de lo anterior, el titular del poder ejecutivo emitió un acuerdo por medio del cual pretende involucrar a las fuerzas armadas en labores de seguridad pública, medida que desde luego resulta claramente inconstitucional, circunstancia que pronto estará en la esfera de conocimiento de la Suprema Corte de Justicia de la Nación. Para llegar a esta afirmación se utilizará el método inductivo, bajo un enfoque de investigación cualitativo.
