Title:	The Challenges of the migration and asylum Policy in the European Union Los Desafios de la Politica Migratoria y de Asilo en la Unión Europea de 2015 a 2018

Description:	The purpose of this article is to give an overview of the challenges of the migration and asylum policy in the European Union from 2015 to 2018. This article is divided into three parts: the first part shows the number of asylum seekers and economic migrants based on the 2016 Eurostat statistics that entered into the European Union per country. It also addresses the lack of solidarity within the EU regarding the equitable distribution of migrants. The second part explains the migratory and asylum policy of the European Union and briefly criticizes why the Dublin system does not work. The third part analyzes the EU-Turkey Declaration of March 18, 2016, and points out why Turkey is considered as a safe country for the European Union. El objeto del presente artículo es dar una visión general de los desafíos de la política migratoria y de asilo en la Unión Europea de 2015 a 2018. El artículo se divide en tres partes: la primera parte muestra con estadísticas de Eurostat del 2016, el número de personas en busca de asilo y de migrantes económicos que ingresaron a la Unión Europea por país. Se aborda también la falta de solidaridad dentro de la UE en cuanto al reparto equitativo de migrantes. La segunda parte analiza la política migratoria y de asilo de la Unión Europea y critica brevemente porque no funciona el sistema Dublín. La tercera parte analiza la Declaración UE-Turquía de 18 de marzo de 2016 y explica porque la Unión Europea considera a Turquía como país seguro.
