This article raises the need, on the one hand, to analyze the elements that could be taken into account to consider it this way; on de other, to revise the definition of war in order to broaden its definition and include what is currently happening. It analyzes some components of society that form a world that works around lethal violence, the necroworld, which has been superimposed on everything, giving rise to a bloody conflict. From this, the concept of war is redefined and a category is proposed, the domestic war, to name the conflict that confronts society with the perpetrators of aggressions that have caused the death of so many people. La gran cantidad de asesinatos que ocurre en el mundo, cinco veces mayor que los producidos en las guerras, da pie a pensar la situación actual como una guerra. En este artículo se plantea la necesidad, por un lado, de analizar los elementos que podrían tomarse en cuenta para considerarlo así; por otro, de revisar la definición de guerra con el objetivo de ampliar su significado e incluir lo que ocurre en la actualidad. Se analizan algunos componentes de la sociedad que forman un mundo que funciona a partir de la violencia letal, el necromundo, que se ha ido superponiendo a toda ella, dando lugar a un sangriento conflicto. A partir de esto se redefine el concepto de guerra y se propone una categoría, la guerra doméstica, para denominar al conflicto que enfrenta a la sociedad con los autores de las agresiones que han provocado la muerte de tantas personas.
