dc.description	This paper tries to make a quick tour of the different attempts that proposed to link scientific and disciplinary knowledge. The central thesis is that there is a marked tendency in the contemporary scientific development that goes from analysis to synthesis, that is, we move from the study of relatively isolated and delimited objects, to the approach of problems and search for solution that requires integration or complementarity. This trend has led to greater inter and transdisciplinarity. This essay, after proposing some assumptions and initial premises, describes the most relevant attempts at articulation or unification of the sciences raised during the last century and the present. Finally, one of the most promising proposals at present is the emergence of complexity, which has different aspects that call for the dialogue of sciences, disciplines and even other non-scientific knowledge.	en-US
dc.description	El escrito intenta hace un rápido recorrido por las diferentes tentativas que se han propuesto para enlazar los conocimientos científicos y disciplinares; parte de la afirmación de que existe una marcada tendencia en el desarrollo científico contemporáneo que va del análisis a la síntesis, es decir, transitamos del estudio de los objetos relativamente aislados y delimitados, al abordaje de problemas y búsqueda de solución de los mismos, que exige integración o complementariedad. Esta tendencia ha impulsado una mayor inter y transdisciplinariedad. Este ensayo, después de proponer algunos supuestos y premisas iniciales, describe los intentos más relevantes de articulación o unificación de las ciencias suscitados a lo largo del siglo pasado y lo que va del presente. Finalmente, ahondo en una de las propuestas más prometedoras actualmente, la emergencia de la complejidad, la cual tiene diversas vertientes que convocan al diálogo de las ciencias, disciplinas y, aún, de otros saberes no científicos.	es-ES
