dc.descriptionEnvironmental law is one of the foundations for sustainability, which is why the full realization of its objectives is increasingly urgent due to growing environmental pressures. Violations of environmental law hamper the achievement of all dimensions of sustainable development. The objective of the work is to design an alternative legal route that ensures the protection of Mexican ecosystems and the social right to a healthy environment based on the existing legal framework. Under a qualitative research approach and the case study method, documentary research is anchored in a legal framework related to environmental law. Everything indicates that there was environmental devastation, which caused damage to the flora and fauna, favoring foreign investment for the activity of mass tourism to the detriment of the right to an environment healthy and its repercussions on the social environment of Cancún, México.en-US
dc.descriptionEl derecho ambiental es una de las bases para la sostenibilidad, por lo que la plena realización de sus objetivos es cada vez más urgente debido a las crecientes presiones. Las violaciones del derecho ambiental obstaculizan el logro de todas las dimensiones del desarrollo sostenible. El objetivo del trabajo consistió en diseñar una ruta jurídica alternativa, que permitiera asegurar la protección de los ecosistemas mexicanos y el derecho social a un ambiente sano a partir del marco jurídico existente. Bajo un enfoque de investigación cualitativo y el método de estudio de caso, la investigación de tipo documental se ancla en un marco jurídico relacionado con el derecho ambiental. Todo indica que hubo una devastación ambiental, provocando daños a la flora y fauna, privilegiando la inversión extranjera para la actividad del turismo masivo en menoscabo del derecho a un ambiente sano y sus repercusiones en el entorno social de Cancún, México.es-ES
