dc.descriptionThe strategies implemented over the bodies of young unmarried mothers are analyzed, as well as the representations of these at the university. Which include the health system and family support networks of university students. We conducted indepth interviews to 14 teachers and administrative staff of the Autonomous University of San Luis Potosí. This analysis was carried out from February to May 2014, in which we gathered the life stories of eight young single mothers who attended the School of Chemical Sciences. Entering motherhoodas single mother does not conduce in a general way to, the use of contraceptive methods. The mothers interviewed reflected a partial use of the provided agencies of the university by attending this space with their children. There is a lack of university norms to socially legitimatize single mothers. On the other hand, the relationship between the capacity of the agency and their sexual reproductive rights are not established either in theory or in concept but rather in reflective actions that lack a theoretical support that would allow them tocarry out with greater force their rights.en-US
dc.descriptionSe analizan las estrategias que crean las madres solteras sobre sus cuerpos, así como las representaciones de éstos en la universidad, en el sistema de salud y en las redes de apoyo familiar de las estudiantes universitarias. Para ello realizamos entrevistas en profundidad a 14 docentes y personal administrativo de la Universidad Autónoma de San Luis Potosí entre febrero a mayo del año 2014. Además elaboramos los relatos de vida de ocho jóvenes madres solteras que asisten a la Facultad de Ciencias Químicas. Ingresar en la maternidad como madres solteras no propicia de manera general el ejercicio de agencia sobre los métodos anticonceptivos. Estas jóvenes asumen agencias parciales sobre sus cuerpos en el espacio universitario al presentarse con sus hijos en la universidad. Faltan normativas universitarias que legitimen socialmente a los cuerpos de las madres solteras universitarias. Por otro lado, la relación entre su capacidad de agencia y sus derechos sexuales y reproductivos, no se establece en conocimientos teóricos y conceptuales sino en reflexiones y acciones carentes de un sustento teórico que les permita ejercer con mayor fuerza sus derechos.es-ES
