dc.descriptionThe objective of the article is to study some aspects of the world financial crisis, considered as part of a process that turned out to be favorable for the consolidation of the Anglo-Saxon banking hegemony, based on the expansion of the financing of social life. This was possible due to the decrease in the income of the waged workers, reflected in their low consumption. However, in order to increase their consumption, the credit and insolvency risk was increased because the loans did not have as a basis the consumers’ actual payment capacity.en-US
dc.descriptionEl objetivo del artículo es estudiar algunos aspectos de la crisis financiera mundial, considerada como parte de un proceso que resultó favorable a la consolidación de la hegemonía de la banca anglosajona, basada en la expansión del financiamiento de la vida social. Esto fue posible por la disminución de los ingresos de los asalariados, reflejada en una baja capacidad de su consumo. Sin embargo, para aumentar su consumo se incrementó el crédito y el riesgo de la insolvencia porque los préstamos no tenían como base la capacidad real de pago de los consumidores.es-ES
