dc.descriptionThis is an examination of some views by E. P. Thomson, which are central for understanding a revolution as something unfinished. The essay proposes to go beyond conventional interpretations in order to refute their limitations, suggesting also a more critical understanding on the shaping of submissive subjects. It also argues that E. P. Thompson developed a narrative on the revolution, which takes in consideration the attendant suffering and the subsequent knowledge generated in the struggle.en-US
dc.descriptionEn este trabajo hacemos una revisión de los aspectos del pensamiento de Thompson que hoy nos parecen centrales para entender la revolución como algo inacabado. Proponemos ir más allá de las interpretaciones que de su obra hacen los estudios subalternos, para refutar las limitaciones que se asocian a su perspectiva y sugerir entendimientos más críticos sobre la formación de un sujeto no sumiso o no subalterno. En este ensayo exponemos que E. P. Thompson creó un relato sobre la revolución, que se construye con las marcas dejadas por el sufrimiento del antagonismo y el conocimiento generado en la lucha.es-ES
