dc.descriptionIn view of the extent and generalization of the government proposals on the new industrial clusters in Latin America, which are the result of different schools of thought in the academic circles, this article makes a critical revision of the literature in the region. The central axis guiding this critique is Immanuel Wallerstein’s and the circulationists’ center- periphery perspective, as well as the recent contributions on Gary Gereffi’s value chains. On the basis of critical revision, the elements of an explanatory, unfinished proposal are sketched, about the territorialization of recent manufacturing in Latin America, within the framework of a probable temporary exit of the crisis, which marks the capital.en-US
dc.descriptionAnte la amplitud y generalización de las propuestas gubernamentales sobre las nuevas aglomeraciones industriales en América Latina, que se derivan de diversas corrientes de pensamiento en el medio académico, este artículo realiza una revisión crítica de la literatura en la región. El eje rector que guía esta crítica es la perspectiva centro-periferia de Immanuel Wallerstein y los circulacionistas, así como las recientes aportaciones sobre las cadenas de valor de Gary Gereffi. Con base en la revisión crítica, se esbozan los elementos de una propuesta explicativa, no acabada, sobre la territorialización de la manufactura reciente en América Latina, en el marco de la probable salida temporal a la crisis, que marca el capital.es-ES
