dc.descriptionThis article discusses the objectives and goals reached regarding the issues of Training and Education of Women and Girls addressed in the Beijing Platform for Action, a document drafted in the Fourth World Conference on Women held in 1995. Twenty years after this world event, we identify areas and objectives not met or in which advances were modest, the challenges that this entails for the organizations responsible for the design and execution of those programs for the education of our country’s women and girls. We also allude to the public policy measures that could contribute to advancements in the fulfillment of the education rights of women and girls in the field of education.en-US
dc.descriptionEl trabajo aborda los avances alcanzados en las metas y objetivos del tema de Educación y Capacitación de mujeres y niñas, considerado en la Plataforma de Acción de Beijing, documento emanado de la IV Conferencia Mundial de las Mujeres, celebrada en el año 1995. A veinte años de este acontecimiento mundial, se identifican las áreas y los objetivos no cumplidos o donde se tienen avances modestos, los retos y desafíos que esto plantea para las instituciones responsables del diseño y ejecución de los programas en materia de educación de las mujeres y las niñas en nuestro país. Se hace mención de las medidas de política pública que podrían contribuir en el avance del cumplimiento de los derechos de las mujeres y niñas en el campo educativo.es-ES
