El género Ceratozamia Brongn (Zamiaceae) se registra como hospedero de Pharaxonotha mexicana sp. nov. y P. tenuis sp. nov. por primera vez. Los especímenes fueron colectados directamente en los conos de machos y hembras de C. tenuisen-US
