dc.description.abstractThe importance of agave bagasse as bulking agent in composting trials is discussed. It provides additional carbon and helps to increase the porosity of the substrate, that could have major impact on swine abattoirs. The method is a low-cost alternative for disposal of agave bagasse whenever tequila is produced.
