Description:	El propósito del artículo es dar a conocer dos evaluaciones sistemáticas que sobre el desempeño lectoescritural de estudiantes universitarios alteños se han realizado y, a partir de los datos obtenidos, el diseño de una propuesta de intervención correctiva, actualmente en proceso, para 80 educandos que cursan la licenciatura. The purpose of this article is to introduce two systematic evaluations on the reading and writing performance of university students at the Centro Universitario de Los Altos (Mexico), and from the data obtained, the design of a corrective action proposal, currently in process for 80 students attending college.
