Title: Analysis of scorpion venom composition by Raman Spectroscopy

Abstract: In this work we study the venom of two Centruroides scorpion species using Raman spectroscopy. The spectra analysis allows to determine the venoms chemical composition and to establish the main differences and similarities among the species. It is also shown that the use of Principal Component Analysis may help to tell apart between the scorpion species. Zapotitlán 2015 SPIE.
